Important: Facebook announced that it would be closing Facebook Exchange (FBX), its real-time bidding inventory.
FBX will be sunsetting November 1, 2016
A new solution will be release in the 2nd quarter of 2017!
Facebook Campaign targets users that are captured in an Audience List or 3rd Party Audiences.
First we will need to set the audience tag on the site.
Here are all the steps on how to create an audience list and get the tag on your website.
Now that we already have the audience tag on the page, we are ready to set up the campaign.
Create the Campaign:
a. Click on the “+Create New Campaign” on the top navigator and choose 'Facebook Campaign'.
Then a form for a new campaign will appear.
b. First step:
- set the name of the campaign;
- set the date you want to start the campaign and the date you want to end it, or leave it to run continuously (don't set up the end date);
- choose the frequency cap (how many times you want your Ads to be displayed in a period of time)
Click "Next" to proceed to next step.
c. Second step: choose the geographic location you wish to target.
Click "Next" to proceed to next step.
d. Third step: select the audience, either from your Audience Lists, or from 3rd Party Audiences.
You can use it to Retarget or Exclude.
Also, you can choose multiple audience lists, but you can not choose both Audience Lists and 3rd Party Audiences.
Click "Next" to proceed to next step
e. Forth step: select your banner ads from the list uploaded from Creative List.
Click "Next" to proceed to next step
f. Fifth step: set your Campaign Budget and you are ready to run your campaign
by clicking "Launch Campaign".
