The UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) parameters are the tags that you attach to any URL in order to track a source, medium and campaign name. For example if a user clicks on a URL with UTM parameter those tags are sent to your analytic tool for tracking purpose.
Required parameters in a UTM are:
Campaign Source (utm_source)
Campaign Medium (utm_medium)
Campaign Name (utm_campaign)
Optional parameters in a UTM are:
Campaign Terms (utm_term)
Campaign Content (utm_content)
